3rd Arch Benevolent Fund Chairman Ill. Comp. John T. (Tom) Shultz, K.Y.C.H.

Ill. Comp. Shultz was born in Tucson. Arizona in May 1953. He married Brenda Grice on June 3, 1977. They have one son, Eric, born in 1989 and one foster son, Steven, born in 1988. Tom and Brenda reside in Xenia, Ohio. Tom works in the Civil Engineering Section as an Airconditioning/Pipefitter at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he has been employed for more than 36 years. Tom is no stranger when it comes to working with young people. He is serving as a Unit Commissioner for the Chillicothe District of Tecumseh Council 439 of the Boy Scouts of America. His Scouting career also includes being an active Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 362 in Xenia. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow and has received his Ordeal, Brotherhood and Vigil Honor. He has received his Leadership in Service Award with silver and gold feathers for 2006 - 2008. He has also received the Bronze, Silver and Gold level awards for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for his Scouting work.

MASONIC RECORD

Tom was Raised a Master Mason in Xenia Lodge No. 49 on July 4, 1991. He is also an Honorary member of New Burlington Lode No. 574. He was Exalted a Royal Arch Mason in Xenia Chapter No. 36 on March 25, 1992. He received the Order of High Priesthood in October 2000. He is also a member of Apllo Dramatic Chapter and North Bend Mark Lodge No. 1. He was Advanced a Super Excellent Master in Wright Council No. 96 on April 30, 1994. He became a member of Anointed Kings in October 2002. He has been the 3rd Arch Chairman of the Grand Council Diabetic Kid's Fund since 2004. He received the Order of the Temple in Nathaniel Greene Commandery on March 28, 1992. He is a Life Sponsor of the Knight Templar Eye Foundation. He is a member of the Knight Eminent Commander Association. Tom was Knighted in Ohio Priory No. 18, Knights of the York Cross of Honour on March 13, 2004. He is a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite - Valley of Dayton Ancient Arabic Order - Nobles of the Mystic Shrine in Dayton. Brotherhood of the Perfect Triangle - Sovereign Princes of the Court of King Solomon, State of Indiana. Co-founder of the Hiram's Angels Degree - 8th Masonic District of Ohio. Member of the National Association of Masonic Scouters.
